| FOR THE PLANNER The UKAWP was launched to promote professionalism within wedding planning. Weddings are becoming more complex to organise, this coupled with busy careers of couples today has bought wedding planners to the mainstream. A recent poll conducted by You and Your Wedding noted that 11% of brides would consider hiring a wedding planner. With approx. 231,490 weddings each year (Office for National Statistics 2009), that’s a potential audience of 23,149 weddings. |

One incompetent wedding planner can ruin the reputation of those providing an excellent service to their clients. Poor customer service provided by those few leads to brides and suppliers then beginning to believe the same of all wedding planners. The UKAWP can help keep your reputation intact. |
