If you want to be a wedding planner but don’t know where to start, who to ask for advice and where to get some guidance, then the UKAWP can help you. Perhaps you have undertaken some wedding planning training but still feel unsure how to launch or what to charge? Many of our students undertook competitors’ training courses but were left feeling unfulfilled and confused, until they took our course. What makes us different is our experience as successful wedding planners. Call Bernadette on 01376 561 544 to discuss how the UKAWP can help you succeed.

We believe the most successful way to learn a new skill is by interacting with likeminded individuals which is why we only run classroom based training. Trying to learn about this industry via written text is simply not sufficient. Held at locations throughout the UK there should be a date and location convenient for you.

Before agreeing to any course, can you answer ‘yes’ to following questions?

1. Are you prepared to work unsociable hours?
2. Are you willing to sacrifice time with family and friends in peak season?
3. Have you prepared a business plan?
4. Are you able to survive with little money for the first two years?
5. Are you creatively minded and able to transfer ideas into someone’s
    wedding?
6. Do you have negotiation and selling skills?
7. Do you have a car to visit clients, venues or suppliers?
8. Are you able to communicate with people from different backgrounds
    and different age groups?
9. Are you assertive yet approachable and friendly?

Prices start from £305 for a one day course. Please download our brochure here for further information. Still unsure? Contact Sandy who can give you details of our many successful past students to clarify any grey areas.

All courses are taught by the directors of the Alliance all of whom have at least 6 years experience as wedding planners, wouldn’t you rather learn from an expert rather than from a faceless tutor?
