If you want to train to become a wedding planner, and start getting bookings in 2015/6, then we’d love to see you on one of our courses. We believe the most successful way to learn a new skill is by interacting with like-minded individuals which is why we run classroom based training. Each tutor has approx. 12 years experience as full time wedding planners enabling them to bring real life scenarios to the classroom and highlight teachings face to face.
We pride ourselves on our honesty and immense enthusiasm at wanting you to succeed and update our course regularly. We want you to enter this vibrant industry with the knowledge necessary to be successful. Our Step by Step course has been reviewed and edited by leading wedding industry experts, lovingly known as #SBScontributors.
We run the courses spring and autumn and current dates can be seen below. Due to the limited number of courses we run dates tend to sell out fast so ensure you register early to confirm your place on the course.

Early Payment Discount
If you pay for the course in one go you are entitled to a discount of 10% making the course £540 instead of £600.
We are delighted to offer a payment plan for autumn 2014 for those that prefer to pay in 3 monthly instalments of £200, these can be paid at a time convenient to you but the course must be paid prior to 2 weeks before your chosen date.

If you attend both Business Practicalities and Step by Step within a 12 month period we will send you a booklet of vouchers worth £100, these can be used against future UKAWP events.
How should I compare your course to others?
We appreciate you may wish to compare courses before choosing the right one for you. A few things you should ask when making enquiries:
- Who wrote the course and is it a US or UK text?
- Who conducts the training and what is their background/experience?
- Can you speak with previous students for feedback and review their websites?
- Do they have other services to support you after the course has finished?
