A Royal Wedding at last!

Here at the UKAWP we are delighted to hear Kate Middleton and Prince William have announced their engagement and plan to marry in 2011. A statement from Clarence House reads:
The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton.
The wedding will take place in the Spring or Summer of 2011, in London. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course.
Prince William and Miss Middleton became engaged in October during a private holiday in Kenya.
Prince William has informed The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince William has also sought the permission of Miss Middleton’s father.
Following the marriage, the couple will live in north Wales, where Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.
This news can only be positive for the UK wedding industry and we anticipate an influx of brides wanting similar touches to the Royal wedding. I think it’s going to be an elegant white wedding with an abundance of flowers! My view is that it will be very similar to the wedding of Charles and Diana with a horse drawn carriage and a huge number of guests.
The wedding planner that is employed for this wedding will be very lucky indeed!
It simply is a wonderful news and I cannot wait to see the details of the wedding unravelling! Kate is simply a beautiful and stylish young woman and I expect the same level of classic elegance to be very much part of her wedding. All the very best of luck to all the wedding professionals who are going to be involved in making such a day happen!
