Aruna Nicholas – Falling in Love Photoshoot

We are delighted to show you this gorgeous autumnal photoshoot as organised by member Aruna Nicholas from Perfecto Mundo Weddings & Events.
Drawing inspiration from autumns beautiful landscape and its colours Perfecto Mundo Weddings & Events collaborated with a team of talented suppliers to create our “Falling in Love” photo shoot. ‘Falling in Love’ is a play on the American word ‘Fall’ for autumn, but it was a perfect way to describe our vision for the shoot and emphasise the romance and allure associated with the season.
Whilst the general interpretation of autumn is rustic with vibrant colours and cascading leaves, we wanted to achieve a softer, romantic and sophisticated look all to keep with our ‘Falling in Love’ theme. Our final colour palette was made up of coral, muted gold, peach and touches of pink. Once the concept was in place and the vision communicated, all our suppliers came to the party and delivered exactly what we wanted and much more.
The whole shoot was captured brilliantly by JKB Young Photography and even the sun came out on demand just when we needed it.
Perfecto Mundo’s ‘’Falling in Love’’ autumnal concept potrayed the start of a magical and enchanting love story – the candle lit warmth combined with excitement as you feel the change in the air.
It was a great opportunity to express ‘romance’ which is Lily Anna Rose’s favourite topic! Our Vintage Couture – Enchant was perfect for the shoot as the collection was inspired by an enchanting love affair.
The luxurious stationery is handcrafted and uses the finest of papers. Lily Anna Rose supplied save the date cards, invitations and RSVPs for the photo shoot. Lustrous gold and hematite type sat on metallic white gold paper and nude blush base was used for making the stationery. The warm ivory and glow of rosiness suited the colour palette chosen for the autumnal theme. Calligraphy in gold ink was also used to dress the place setting cards –which added an individual touch of artisan craftsmanship.
The results from the shoot were simply stunning and a great testament of Aruna’s skills to coordinate a team of suppliers from near and far. – Lily Anna Rose
I proposed the Rosapina couture gown for Perfecto Mundo’s “Falling in Love” photo shoot which was about substance over just appearance. A simple yet elegant dress, the Rosapina gown stands out for its flattering cut and the sophisticated silk roses collar which is a strong detail without being overpowering.
The dress worked perfectly for our delicately beautiful model but also complimented the flowers and colour palette chosen. The final effect was so calibrated, feminine, tasteful and neat – I’m delighted I took part in the photo shoot with one of my creations.
Perfecto Mundo’s autumnal photo shoot ‘’Falling in Love’’ promised to be beautiful from the start. The initial concept board and colour scheme provided to the suppliers for guidance and inspiration had a clear sophisticated and romantic design behind it, calling for a simple but effective installation.
By Bethany Flowers design for the tablescape used statuesque candlesticks to create height, bringing the eye down to multiple domes of blooms using roses and hydrangeas. This was complimented by smaller candles at the bottom which echoed the light from above providing a soft and romantic appeal.– By Bethany Flowers
