I regularly follow the blog of Think Splendid which has some marvellous and very insightful posts for anyone working in the wedding planning industry.

But one post entitled Being Yourself recently really summed it up for us here at UKAWP and I printed off the blog post (yes, I know that is very old-fashioned) and kept it as I wanted to share it here later. It really captures the ethos that we follow here at UKAWP that clients choose you for you and largely based on individual personality and attributes so we can and should be friendly with our competitors. It comes as a shock to many industries that competitors talk but together we are stronger and there should be room for us all to do our own thing and use our  unique DNA (as it says in this blog) in delivering fabulous weddings. So do have a read.
