British Botanical Wedding Inspiration

We are delighted to bring you this beautiful styled shoot organised by member “By Christina Marie”
Every bride is entirely unique and I, therefore, believe their wedding style should reflect exactly that. The idea behind this wedding style was creating a bold and bright whimsical wedding look right the heart of London- with a touch of luxury. Don’t set yourself limits! You can have that dreamy wedding you desire wherever you are.
For this look, I combined the botanical wedding trend with a whimsical English garden theme. The white space of the Altitude 360 was the perfect blank canvas to let the beautiful colours of tropical green, raspberry red, teal and gold accents shine. All whilst having a breathtaking view of the city! An unforgettable experience guaranteed for anyone who plans their wedding here.
The photographer
Photos from Sophie captured the extraordinary shoot for us. With her love for bold colours and soft shooting style, she was exactly the style of photographer we needed on the day. It is impossible to put into words exactly how amazing the shoot was. Sophie’s pictures allow us to share this magical shoot with you exactly as it was.
The flowers
Fig Tree’s flowers extravagant, fairytale-like floral creations were the key to making the vision come to life. The first time I saw Zuzana’s creations I knew immediately she was the right person for the job. She was the first person I contacted for the shoot. I am over the moon we worked together on this extravagant wedding look together as her spectacular floral arrangements made the day truly unforgettable.
The stationery
To complement our modern botanical English Garden theme, De Winton Paper Co provided us with stunning white stationery decorated with hand-painted English florals. Based in Devon, Harriet provides luxurious hand painted watercolour stationery combined with modern calligraphy.
The beauty
Our beautiful model was Louise Rackley. I felt she had the perfect soft features to complete our look. On the day Louise showed off two incredible couture dresses by Kate Edmondson Bridal Couture. Kate creates stunning bespoke vintage style dresses with a modern day twist. The first dress was a beautiful soft flowy gown with an intricately embroidered waist belt. The second dress was a gorgeous modern satin creation with trendy wide sleeves and a long chapel train.
The incredibly talented Anna Marie Dowling finished Louise’s hair and makeup perfectly- with a wavy loose hair up-do for the fairytale-like feel and stunning pink lips to match the florals. She knew what we were looking for and created this beautiful look with ease.
