  • Please allow one week for your application to be considered, if approved you will be emailed requesting the annual fee of £300 (or monthly £30 both instances plus vat unless you pay this locally). Once received your annual certificate of membership will be sent for you to show potential clients and your details added to www.ukawp.com. Please note we reserve the right to decline membership without further comment or explanation. Complaints about a member may result in them being removed from www.ukawp.com.

    I agree to:

    • Respond to enquiries within 48 hours
    • Respect client confidentiality
    • Disclose any suppliers I have a vested interest in
    • *Disclose whether you operate on a commission structure
    • Ensure my Public Liability & indemnity insurance is up to date
    • Never give client details to any third party not involved with the wedding
    • Respect copyright from fellow wedding professionals
    • Represent each client fairly and honestly
    • Use legally sound business contracts with clients
    *Commission for International Weddings The wedding industry internationally operates with local venues and suppliers working on a commission basis. Frequently local wedding planners will charge a much lower fee on the understanding they earn extra in commission. Therefore our code of business practice has been revised 2019 to reflect this.
