Sorry to sound cheesy, but it is so true... It is hard to put into words how absolutely incredible 'Kefalonia Weddings' are. We got married on 3rd September at Villa Brio, Skala. Donna was amazing from the moment I contacted her two years ago! Being a bit of a worried, loopy bride was hard at first, but even talking to her through email helped me relax. I knew from the start she would have everything sorted just the way we wanted it! She met us at the airport when we landed and came to our villa that evening. She was so relaxed and it was obvious she knew exactly what she was doing. We went through every little detail and she made us laugh. The service at the town hall (the day before the wedding) was surreal and it would of been impossible without her knowledge of the legalities and the language. It was so funny and she did a great job at translating for us. The actual day has got to be hands down the best day of my life! The hair and make up ladies made us laugh our heads off (and did an amazing job at the hair and make up too). Donna popped in every so often to make sure I was OK. We got married in a private villa and Donna decorated it completely to our specification. When I walked outside to meet my groom the place looked amazing, sunflowers everywhere and I could see all the beautiful candles lined up for the evening. It was absolutely stunning and I 100% know we might the right decision, 1. getting married in Kefalonia and 2. asking Donna to be our wedding planner. Even the tables were set up perfectly, round tables with everyone facing the top table. Donna stayed right until the end and she was there at any moment anyone needed anything, even when my drunk brother thought it would be a great idea to jump in the pool fully clothed!! She was immediately on the case, mopping up the mess and making sure no one got electrocuted (DJ was set up right there!!), but still with a smile on her face. The only sad part was at the end of the night we had to say goodbye! We wanted to pack her in our case and take her home with us! I would recommend her to anyone who asked, so made the experience so easy and wonderful.
