Are you thinking of getting married in Warwickshire? If so, you are in the right place! This guide by UKAWP Wedding Planner members Nicole & Charlotte Events will help kick start your planning.

Beautiful Warwickshire is known as ‘the heart of England’ thanks to its central position. It’s both the birthplace of rugby football, and one of the greatest writers in the English language, William Shakespeare. It’s rich history, fascinating culture and beautiful landscapes make it the perfect location for your wedding. So let’s get planning…

Warwickshire is home to an amazing range of beautiful wedding venues. There are stunning halls and historic spaces (such as Warwick House, Gorcott Hall, Catthorpe Manor Estate and Hampton Manor), beautiful barns (such as Shustoke Barn and Swallows Nest Barn), and truly unique venues (such as The Royal Shakespeare Company and Twycross Zoo).

Warwickshire is also home to plenty of amazing outdoor venue options such as Kingstanding Farm, Boutique Marquees and Wootton Park.

Once you’ve confirmed your venue, you’ll want to start thinking about your wedding stationery. We love the unique creations of The Making Cupboard by Amy Ede, based in Stratford-upon-Avon. We’re still baffled and amazed, and can’t quite figure out how she hand makes such cute little invites!

Thinking of avoiding a civil or religious ceremony? You could opt for something truly unique by hiring a celebrant. There are so many amazing celebrants who deliver ceremonies across Warwickshire, such as Stand out Ceremonies and My Perfect Ceremony.

Depending on the venue you choose, you may also want to start thinking about catering. Who doesn’t love thinking about food though, right?! Warwickshire is home to some amazing wedding caterers such as The Wild Oven (who are also currently setting up a bar offering, Travelling Box Bars, so watch this space!), The Chef’s Kitchen and The Lazy Pig.

Wedding Cakes

Your next task will be to find a cake for your wedding. There are so many options in Warwickshire – check out the stunning creations of Cakes by Sophie Page, The Cakery and Deliciously Divine Cake Design. Tasting lots of yummy cake options – what a chore!

Every wedding day needs a little entertainment, right?! Warwickshire is certainly not short of options. Entertainment Nation can find and book a huge variety of exciting bands, musicians and performers. Photo booths also go down really well with guests – check out Snapbooth! If you’re looking for something a little more vintage, take a look at Daisy Chain Wedding Hire. Their garden games are so cute!

Your next task will be to confirm your wedding photographer. We love the work of Katie Ingram Photography, Alex Bradbury Photography and Chris Fossey Photography. We Are // The Clarkes also offer fantastic photography and filming services.

If you’re thinking of having your wedding day filmed, you should check out the amazing work of Blue Ridge Films, Andrew Kelly Films and Fuz Films.

Wedding attire

Now, it’s time to decide on your wedding day attire! Warwickshire is home to so many stunning bridal boutiques, such as Victoria Lou Bridal, The Bridal Boutique Warwickshire and Tilly Trotter’s Brides.

There are also lots of suit hire and purchase stores, such as Richard Paul Menswear, Thorburns and Salters.

Flowers are, arguably, one of the most important features of your wedding day, so you’ll want to make sure that you get booked in with one of Warwickshire’s many amazing florists. We love the work of Green and Wild Flowers, Stem Ginger and March Hare Floral Design.

Who wouldn’t want to arrive at their wedding venue in a stunning vintage Volvo named Molly?! If that sounds like your kind of thing, then you should contact the team at Molly the Vintage Volvo. Looking for something a bit more classic? You should check out Rockford and Stanley and The Wedding Car Hire People.

To complete your wedding day look, you may want to use a hair stylist and/or makeup artist. Check out the stunning work of Mode Bridal Hair and Makeup, Frankie Rose Hair and Makeup, Nicola Smyth and Bryony Dalton professional makeup artist.

So there you have it! That’s the majority of your Warwickshire wedding sorted! If you do read this list and have a slight panic at the thought of all that work, then do feel free to contact our UKAWP approved wedding planners Nicole & Charlotte Events. They would be delighted to help you
