Today we thought it was about time we said a public thank you to seven splendid UKAWP members without whom our Alliance wouldn’t work the way it does.

Namely, our Ambassadors.

Whilst they are far from the only members who support and help us, our Ambassadors are also there for the membership and for wedding industry folks interested in attending our events or becoming members.

For those of you who don’t know, we have five Regional Ambassadors who are our voice in their areas:

Dominique Douglas & Andri Benson jointly cover London & SE, Andrea Swift the North, Val Mattinson the Midlands and Melanie Kiani the South West. Aside from representing the UKAWP for their areas, they also run our annual, regional Mix & Mingle events, regular coffee club meet ups, training and much more: indeed each Region has its own unique approach which works locally thanks to these wonderful women.

In addition we have Kelly Chandler, Ambassador – Special Projects. This role covers a multitude of different projects and, as a former owner/ director, Kelly is really well placed to spearhead UKAWP initiatives.

And last, but by far from least, we have Louise Perry, Ambassador – Wedding Supplier Partners, who looks after our non planner members. Both a planner and supplier member, Louise understands the planner/ supplier relationship and is ideally positioned to guide and advise.
