Hello and Welcome to the UKAWP Blog
After much anticipation, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the new UKAWP blog!
The blog has been designed to inform and inspire wedding planners whilst also allowing brides to learn more about what we do and who we are. Over the coming weeks and months we will be posting regular articles related to professional wedding planning including: Meet The Member, book reviews, wedding planning articles, showcase weddings, industry news and much, much more.
The UK Alliance of Wedding Planners was founded in order to promote professionalism in wedding planning. We aim to do this through training, mentoring, membership, business tools and importantly our Code of Ethics to which all members adhere.
The Alliance is run by three women who run their own independent wedding planning businesses. Kelly Chandler, Marketing & Finance Director, owns The Bespoke Wedding Company, Bernadette Chapman, Training Director, runs Dream Occasions, and Sandy Moretta, Membership Director, owns Tern Events.
We are really looking forward to seeing how the blog develops over time and would encourage you to leave us a comment, subscribe via email or in your newsreader and let us know if there is a topic you’d like us to cover.
