As you may have seen from our post on Saturday, we have a number of ‘Mix & Mingle’ evenings upcoming this Autumn. Today we’d like to introduce you to the three lovely member planners who are organising the first event, in London, on 30th September, 6:30-9:30pm. Katrina Otter of Katrina Otter Weddings & Events  gives you a taster of what is happening below, along with a few images of previous Mix & Mingle events…

Holly of Pretty Please Events, Rachael of Serendipity Weddings and I are well and truly in the depths of planning for this year’s UKAWP London Mix & Mingle Evening taking place on Tuesday 30^th September in The Balcony Room at The Swan at The Globe.

There are plenty of exciting plans underway and today we want to share some of these with you.

Firstly…we’re having a Wall of Fame!

The Mix and Mingle evening is an opportunity to celebrate our collective successes and as such we’ve decided to create a UKAWP Members “Wall of Fame” displaying our 2014 real weddings, events and inspiration shoots. We hope you enjoy seeing what some of our lovely colleagues have been up to this season.

Secondly…we are delighted that stationer and design extraordinaire Gemma Milly will be running two 30 minute calligraphy masterclasses during the evening.  Spaces will be on a first come first served basis and are limited to six people per workshop so if you want to be involved and learn more about Gemma’s beautiful calligraphy then please email Holly at hello@prettypleaseevents.co.uk to reserve your place.

Aside from Gemma, we also have music by One Foot in the Groove, a fabulous Say Fromage photo booth and photographer Laura Babb will be there recording the night for posterity (well, and the blog of course!)
