Tell us about your journey into weddings?

My journey into wedding planning begun whilst planning my own wedding.  I loved every second of research and spreadsheet creating, as well as the creative aspects such as selecting florals and styling my venue.  I just knew that it was the career change I was looking for. Soon after I re-trained with the UKAWP, launched Hayley Jayne Weddings & Events and have never looked back.

Describe your favourite wedding location (beach / city / country)

My favourite wedding location would have to be an elegantly styled marquee within stunning perfectly manicured grounds (styled with an abundance of creative lighting).

I love how a marquee allows my couples to be creative and incorporate styling aspects that reflects their own style.

I adore elegant, timeless weddings.

What 3 words would clients use to describe you?

Calm, responsive & organised.

How do you unwind?

I love a massage and a facial.  I also always treat myself to a spa break at the end of each wedding season.

Best piece of business advice given?

Stay focused and don’t compare yourself to others.
