Tell us about your journey into weddings?

Becoming a wedding planner was natural progression for me following a decade as a corporate PA. After returning from maternity leave, I realised that the corporate world wasn’t fulfilling me in the way it once had, and so I began to look for a role that injected more joy in to my working life. Being a wedding planner is the kind of job that my detail-obsessed personality thrives on, and I’ve always been fascinated with how each individual element of an event comes together to make one beautiful experience and there is nothing as heart-warming as seeing two people declare their love and commitment for each other in front of their loved ones.

Describe your favourite wedding location (beach / city / country)

It would have to be the beautiful British countryside

Ultimate wedding theme you’d love to be a part of

I’m not really a follower of themes or trends; I am a big believer that a wedding day should be a true reflection of the couple and incorporate the things that are special to them. That being said, my style is very much romantic, timeless and elegant – and the more flowers the better!

What 3 words would clients use to describe you?

Organised, efficient and trustworthy

How do you unwind?

By spending time with family – preferably at the beach or a long country walk.

I love a nice facial and have recently taken up yoga.  I also enjoy a good gin and tonic – life is all about balance, after all
