Tell us about your journey into weddings?

I had my own floristry business for a short while, after taking a break from my City job of 10+ years. Luckily I met a wonderful planner at a wedding fayre, who I then began working alongside and she gave me the motivation to set up my own business. I’ve always been incredibly organised and reliable as well as being very passionate about weddings, so it felt like a natural progression for me to break into the wedding planning industry at that point in my career.

Describe your favourite wedding location (beach / city / country)

Most of my weddings take place in Central London, so I’m a real City girl at heart. However, I absolutely love working in the countryside. We’re spoilt in the UK with all the wonderful venues available to us.

Ultimate wedding theme you’d love to be a part of

I don’t really like themes as such, but give me a garden or romantic design brief and I’m in my happy place.

What 3 words would clients use to describe you?

Super organised, patient and kind

How do you unwind?

By spending time with my family and being by the sea. I love to go to the gym most days too as it helps so much with stress levels, especially during the peak summer months.

Best piece of business advice given?

To never stop believing in myself and to trust my instinct – it’s always right.

Tell us something random about you

I love sitting outside, dining Alfresco and drinking wine, even in the winter under a cosy blanket. I also love cake of any form and my office assistant is my fluffy Shih Tzu called Gizmo, who has just turned 12! I know you only asked for one, but I realised I’m not very random 🙂
