Meet Supplier Member – White Rose Ceremonies

Thrilled to be able to introduce you with one of our Supplier wedding celebrant members White Rose Ceremonies, tell us about yourself Rebecca
Tell us about your journey into weddings?
In 2012, my husband and I were arranging our wedding and knew that we wanted a wedding ceremony that wasn’t constrained by either tradition or legal requirements. We had a wonderful wedding ceremony on a beach in Norfolk, led by a celebrant and it was then that I knew what I wanted to do in the future. I set up my celebrant business in 2013 and have never looked back!
Describe your favourite wedding location (beach / city / country)
My favourite wedding location is anywhere that I have a very happy couple! I have conducted ceremonies in formal (licensed and unlicensed) venues in England and France. I have also conducted ceremonies in barns, tipis, marquees, fields and back gardens, in woods, on working farms, in an outdoor ‘cathedral’, a labyrinth, on a punt in Cambridge and also on the beautiful SS Nomadic in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.
Ultimate wedding theme you’d love to be a part of
The Roaring 20’s – I just love the exuberance of that era and, of course, I’d have to wear a frock to match the theme!
What 3 words would clients use to describe you?
Professional, warm, friendly.
How do you unwind?
I unwind by spending time with my wonderful husband. We love walking on the beach and, no matter where we go, we tend to be near the coast.
Best piece of business advice given?
‘Feel the fear and do it anyway’ – the whole book is brilliant!
Tell us something random about you.
I jumped out of an aircraft from 14,000 feet for charity – and it was perfectly capable of landing safely!
