Introduce Camelot Marquees

Delighted to be able to introduce your to Camelot Marquees, over to you Neal….

How did it all start?

The opportunity came along for me to work with my Dad when an existing marquee company was being disbanded and going into liquidation.  We bought the stock and setup Camelot Marquees Ltd.

Do you have a favourite venue?

Yes I do.  In fact I have two, the first has to be Wilkswood Wedding Venue as this is our very own venue, as early adopters of the festival style wedding we were one of the first to offer the weekend wedding setup locally and the venue works very well.  My second is Bournemouth Beach Weddings, mainly because it is a totally unique experience for the clients and guests compared to any other venues in Dorset.  It’s hard work on the sand but the satisfaction is worth it.

How would clients describe you?

Professionals who want the best for their event with a good sense of humour to boot.

Wedding planners or suppliers you particularly admire?

There are many good quality suppliers in our area, although the people that stand out have to be Bellissimo Wedding Planners.  Melanie and her team are professionals care about everything they do.

How do you unwind?

When I walk through the door my 3 little boys give me a clear distraction from work,  if you can call that unwinding!  Taking them out with Soph, my wife, for walks and days out and seeing them enjoying life

What trends are you seeing for 2018/19?

The rustic theme is still alive and kicking as well as the festival vibe.  We are seeing a rise in long banquet style seating with either benches or chairs.

What is your vice?

Chilling out with a beer, either at the local or in the garden.
