How did it all start?

I used to work at Thornton Manor as an event coordinator and then I worked with a wedding planner in London. I then decided to launch my own company 3 years ago.

Do you have a favourite venue?

It is so difficult as there are so many beautiful venues that all suit different couples and different styles. One of my favourite jobs is venue sourcing for clients as every couple requests something different and it’s lovely to work at so many different venues.

How would clients describe you?

Well organised, a perfectionist, creative, dedicated and thorough.

Wedding planners or suppliers you particularly admire?

Mindy Weiss was always one I admired growing up and when I started in the industry. I loved the grand, luxurious events she planned.

How do you unwind?

I love playing tennis, going on holiday (even if I can only fit in a few days in the summer!!) and eating at fantastic restaurants.

What trends are you seeing for 2018/19?

Greenery is a trend I think will extend into 2018 as well as lots of decoration in a venue/marquee. Clients want more hanging lights, flowers and more interesting table layouts and styles rather than your standard circular or trestle tables.

What is your signature dish?

Whose celebrity wedding (dead or alive) would you love work on? Kate Middleton and Prince William – such a grand, lavish event and with Kate’s fantastic fashion sense I’m sure it was an extremely stylish wedding!

What is your vice?

The sun – I’m a bit of a sun-worshipper!
