How did it all start

Mighty Fine Entertainment developed in a very organic way, predominantly through recommendation from clients and venues. The very first weddings that Mark DJ’d at were for close friends, these events were so successful that the London venues wanted to hire Mark on a regular basis. Mighty Fine was then established and the rest is history.

Do you have a favourite venue?

We are so lucky to be involved in an industry that allows you to work in some of the most beautiful and historical venues in the world. Every venue is unique so we don’t have a favourite but we admire professional and well run establishments that really understand the importance of customer relations and attention to detail.

How would clients describe you?

Our clients time and time again have used words and phrases in their testimonials such as; fair, professional, friendly, reliable, outstanding, a dream to work with and honest.

Wedding suppliers you particularly admire?

We’ve had the pleasure of working with some wonderful wedding suppliers so the list is endless, however, we really like MIKI Photography, Jay Rowden Photography, Nigel Chapman Photography, MC Patrick Collins, Berry Marquees, Rockaoke, Chantal Flores, Wild About Flowers, Kristina Gasperas, Storybook Films, Philip Smith Visuals, ITA!, Stylish Events, Lindy Dowling etc. etc.

How do you unwind?

Spending time with the family and also taking time to indulge in my own choice of music. I also love cooking when I have the time.

What trends are you seeing for 2014/15?

Less is more – simple elegance in terms of lighting and DJ setups. Light up letters are the big trend as are fairy lights.

What is your signature dish?

All Mighty Fine DJs have sublime technical abilities that create a seamless mix from a seemingly disparate playlist. We are also known for our very high levels of personal service, attention to detail and expertise in all aspects of delivering fantastic weddings.

Whose celebrity wedding (dead or alive) would you love work on?

Honestly, no one springs to mind – a wedding that has personality and reflects the couple in an elegant, artistic and individual way.

What is your vice?

My vice is probably being a perfectionist and very pedantic with regards to the details. Mighty Fine Entertainment is incredibly special to me and I want to make sure it is always providing an outstanding service.
