Nishit Parmar Member Focus

So pleased to be able to introduce you to one of our supplier members Nishit Parmar Photography, tell us about yourself Nishit….

Tell us about your journey into weddings?

I never had the photography bug when I was younger.  It was during my own wedding that I began to grow an interest in the art of photography and the meaning of weddings/marriage.  Over the last 7 years, I have been fortunate to be a part of a number of amazing wedding ceremonies.  From intimate and spiritual blessings in garden sheds to large opulent weddings at 5* venues.  I treat every wedding with the respect that it deserves.

Describe your favourite wedding location (beach / city / country)

I don’t think I actually have a favourite location.  I find each location has meaning to the client/couple who are getting married.  They have chosen that location for a reason and I have the amazing privilege to photograph it.

Ultimate wedding theme you’d love to be a part of

There are 2 types of weddings which I would love to be a part of and both have similar traits.  Firstly an elopement into a forest – the cool vibes you would get is something which I cannot describe.  The 2nd wedding is a Hindu ceremony on Mount Kailash.  This location has a lot of significance for Hindus and it would be an amazing experience to photograph this for someone.

What 3 words would clients use to describe you?

Fun

How do you unwind?

I have an amazing family and I love to sit with them and enjoy their company.  I am an avid lover of films (which helps me with ideas for photos/video) – so I love watching something on Netflix.

Best piece of business advice given?

Have fun but be yourself.  Clients will book you for your honesty, integrity and happy persona.

Tell us something random about you

For all my extrovert tendencies (climbing onto chairs/walls/ledges for photos, or crawling on the floor or just having fun with my clients and their friends and family)… I am actually an introvert individual!
