Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. In the planning stages ahead, trustworthy guidance and help is vital and you are one step closer to these with our directory. Rather than an unscreened listing of advertisers, ours is based on the highest standards of excellence and professionalism, with members earning inclusion instead of simply paying for it.
Choose your planner with confidence, knowing members at all levels have been vetted via our rigorous application process, have up-to-date public liability insurance and adhere to the UKAWP Code of Business Practice.
Tiers of Membership
Associate members are businesses under 2 years of trading. In order to be accepted they will have completed a UKAWP or UKAWP-approved course in wedding planning, have insurance and a professional website
Professional Members are experienced planners who have been in business a minimum 2 years, as well as insurance and a professional website. They will provide 4 references for us to personally check.
Elite Members have been in business for over 5 years and have organised in excess of 10 weddings. In addition they consistently provide an outstanding service to the wedding industry. This could be by launching something innovative to help couples or even educating the industry Please note this category is by invitation only by the head of the UKAWP.
Destination members plan weddings outside the UK, have provided three verified references, proof of public liability insurance, and have been trading for at least twelve months.
Wedding supplier partners are, in many cases, handpicked by our wedding planner members for being exceptional to work with. They have provided three verified references, proof of public liability insurance, and have been trading for at least twelve months.
