Rather than an unscreened listing of advertisers, ours is based on the highest standards of excellence and professionalism, with members earning inclusion instead of simply paying for it.
UKAWP membership levels are based on a points system*, making it easy to assess each member’s experience at a glance. Members progress from associate member through levels one, two and three, based on their experience and proven continued education in the wedding planning industry. Besides our two directors, supreme members hold the most senior level.
Choose your planner with confidence, knowing members at all levels have been vetted via our rigorous application process, have up-to-date public liability insurance and adhere to the UKAWP Code of Business Practice.
What do the designations mean?
Associate members have completed a UKAWP or UKAWP-approved course in wedding planning.
Members at all three points-based levels have provided at least three references and have been trading for a minimum of twelve months.
Supreme members have been UKAWP members for at least two years and have achieved an outstanding level of wedding planning experience and education.
Destination members plan weddings outside the UK, have provided three verified references, proof of public liability insurance, and have been trading for at least twelve months.
Wedding supplier partners are, in many cases, handpicked by our wedding planner members for being exceptional to work with. They have provided three verified references, proof of public liability insurance, and have been trading for at least twelve months.
