Earlier this month we got together with The Clerkenwell Collection who hosted the most fabulous afternoon for wedding planners. A ‘one stop shop’ for Grooms, with some splendid bridal elements too, The Clerkenwell Collection is a must for the discerning husband to be.

After some initial bubbles, we began with an introduction to Bespoke HQ by inspirational tailor Stephen Williams, ably assisted by the star of the show, and key player at the Collection, Hope – suitably bejewelled and seen here in Stephen’s arms.

Stephen is tailor to many celebrities and is known for bringing modern, exquisite touches to traditional tailoring using the finest fabrics. No detail is too small for Stephen, who frequently brings out the colour of a waistcoat or tie in buttonhole stitching and is known for his bespoke waistcoats which can feature anything from an image of the bride or a favourite saying.

We then moved into the main space for a summary of the work Thinkers Live can do for weddings. Entertainment agent supreme Simon Greenhill took us through how he and his team can work with planners and couples to create an entertainment experience extraordinaire which runs seamlessly throughout the wedding. And yes, when asked, he even burst into song on the spot for us – a real pro!

Lastly, we snuck downstairs to be treated to the most wonderful wine tasting extravaganza I think any of us had ever had. Moez, owner of The Perfect Cellar, who is passionate not only about wine but about the authenticity of its origins and the vineyard owners themselves, took us through some true tasting treats and some wines which were, without doubt, in a class of their own without being priced anything like as high we had anticipated.

In all, we had a splendid afternoon, met some wonderful people who are as dedicated to their areas of expertise as us planners are, and we have no doubt forged some excellent working relationships which will help us help our clients going forward.
