Friday fun time – in the run up to The Wedding Sanctuary I’m happy to introduce our brilliant bar partners The Cocktail Service. A number of UKAWP planners and directors have worked with these guys at weddings and they are true professionals – don’t forget to chat to them if you visit The Wedding Sanctuary on 3rd March. Below they give us all some hints and tips about choosing your wedding bar provider……
Do Your Research: look into three companies and try to get a feel for how long they have been established for and what kind of events they do. There are many event bar companies out there but very few are full time. Pick your bar services provider carefully.
Ask For References: make sure your chosen bar provider can supply you with references of previous work. We would recommend getting both private and corporate references.
Set a Budget: try and set a realistic budget for your bar. Once you have this discuss frankly with your bar provider. Professional bar suppliers will be very helpful and straight about what they can and can’t provide for the budget. And remember if you communicate with your there are always options available to trim costs.
Look At Your Options: there are many options available from your bar provider supplying the entire service to just supplying staff for the event. Find out what services your bar provider can offer.
Pick A Company That You Feel Comfortable With: make sure you feel entirely comfortable with your chosen suppliers, any niggling doubts are probably well founded. The most important thing on your wedding day is to be totally relaxed and have the best day of your life.
