The Wedding Sanctuary: The aftermath – Part 2

Following from our hugely successful Wedding Sanctuary held at Somerset House on the 20th March, we wanted to bring you the very best from the ‘inspiration zone’ – created by planners within the alliance under the skilful guiding hand of Andri Benson from

Always Andri .

The main tables

Andri herself took the task of our largest table – and it really was a stunner! Classic elegance given a twist making use of super chic shades of white and grey with little colour lifts throughout.

Nikki at I do Designer Weddings  also went down a fresh, crisp line, but with much punchier colours, for an uber modern approach.

Liz from Simply Elegant Weddings was behind our gorgeous spring inspired table – and not a moment too soon as the sun shone through the gorgeous spaces – possibly for the first time this year!

The Alliance boasts planners with connections all over the world.  Carmen of Carmen Weddings made her ‘Cherry Blossom’ table look authentically Chinese, without being twee or at all ‘themey’.  We were all utterly in love with the tree centrepiece!

The same can be said of Akansha at Vivah Weddings . Her table featured all the colour and glamour you would expect from an Asian wedding, but the peacock feather details are a fry cry from what you would expect in the ordinary!

The Cake Parlour

Helen Carter of Weddings by Helen Carter , worked hand in hand with the uber talented Zoe Clarke  to showcase the very best of the latest ‘treats table’ trend.  Stylish, delicious – what more could you ask for!

The Boudoir

We were lucky enough to have a really amazing style team in our fashion area – gorgeous gowns by Sassi Holford , shoes by bespoke maker Emmy  and hair and make-up trials happening all day courtesy of Elle au Naturel .  The Boudoir was carefully styled by Lisa Sabin of Just Bespoke  making use of the gorgeous vintage wares available from Kate Fletcher at Vintage Style .  I really wanted this space for my own bedroom – but alas, one can’t wear a wedding dress by Sassi every day!

A special thanks to all the ladies involved and to Julia Boggio  for the lovely pictures taken on the day!
