Following requests from a number of members for a different type of event to those we already offer, we recently set up our ‘Coffee Club’.

The idea is simple….. no fee, no booking form, just a series of informal sessions across the country for wedding industry folks to get together, network, ‘put the world to rights’ and, oh yes, grab a coffee or two.

No need to be a UKAWP member or student, just a wedding business interested in socialising and networking with other, local, like minded business people.

Tuesday last week we met at the fabulous new Cake & Prosecco bar owned by Genuine Cakes. You will be impressed to know that, albeit exactly one month away from Christmas, we stuck to coffee.

Lots of connections were made, 121 meetings booked and industry issues discussed in a delightful space with fabulous cake!

We would like to thank Genuine Cakes for their hospitality, overall joie de vivre and of course, amazing cake samples.
