Today we’d like to make a special mention to our friend Claire over at English Wedding Blog. We love being a sponsor of English Wedding and the support, encouragement and opportunity that Claire offers in return is fabulous.
But of course it would be no good if she didn’t write on so many interesting topics. Now we all like the pretty stuff of weddings (and English Wedding has plenty of this) but what interests many of us in the wedding planning business, is some industry discussion. Claire is excellent at this. Should younger wedding experts ask why are we still here forty years on and still getting fantastic thanks you”s. Where will they be in forty years?
The reason is our old fasioned customer attitude, my saying is as follows:
“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Things have changed in the last forty years and you must keep up with it as a toastmaster, especially in the multi-cultural society that we now all live in.
Some of us still have a lot to give and it would be sad if we did not pass it on to our future Wedding Experts!!!!!!!!
