This week we are introducing you to UK and destination wedding planner Louise of Louise Perry Weddings, who will be speaking at WPE with Isabel Smith on “Calculating your worth: Lucrative business or expensive hobby?”

One of the issues new wedding planners face is knowing how to take the business to the next level so that you can start making money rather than working for the love of it. Louise and Isabel will give you clarity on what you should be charging to ensure every event turns a profit. They will also share their top tips on how to handle clients that don’t want to pay out, and provide advice on day to day accounting, cashflow and financial planning for the future.

Meet Kalm Kitchen – WPE partner and exquisite caterer

The UK Alliance of Wedding Planners was born, not only to promote professionalism in our industry, but also as a way to receive support and motivation from colleagues – likeminded people who work with the same business values and ethos. One of the key benefits of attending this year’s Wedding Planning Excellence is the opportunity to network with fellow planners, members and non-. During each day we will have the chance to exchange ideas, opinion and inspiration.

We will have Q&A sessions as well as coffee breaks, lunch, and two fabulous dinner events where we will be able to mingle in a relaxed, informal setting and get to know each other.
