Andri Benson founded Always Andri Wedding Design in 2009 following a successful career as a freelance set and costume designer working in London theatres and as a costumier for the BBC. Andri is known for her creative, precisely organised and perfectly executed weddings. She has worked at some of the most prestigious venues in London and across the South East and provides a supportive and individual wedding planning service for her clients. Andri's weddings, styled shoots and advice have appeared in print and online titles and she is proud to be a Regional Ambassador for the UKAWP.
Louise Beukes
Louise graduated with honours in Interior Design before working on high end corporate interiors for over 10 years. In 2011 she discovered a new outlet for her creativity and eye for detail, and founded wedding + lifestyle blog b.loved. Three years on, Styled by Louise was created to focus purely on creative direction + styling. Louise curates and designs highly detailed, trend-led, editorial shoots for the wedding + lifestyle industries. Louise's talent lies in her ability to get under the skin of the brands she works with to produce images that are not only visually stunning, but communicate their personality, desires and aspirations.
Her design style is a balance of contemporary style and elegant, romantic details. She loves fresh flowers, coffee, driving with the roof down, Africa, Gin cocktails and sunshine.

Laura Burkitt
After graduating from Central St.Martins with BA (Hons) in Fashion Communication, Laura has gone on to work for numerous publications, most recently Condé Nast Brides, where she spent four successful years as a stylist producing all the wedding interior, food and craft shoots as well as styling wedding event Brides The Show. Now a freelance stylist, Laura comes to WPE with her media and publishing hat on. She is uniquely placed to offer insight on how to work with the press and manage excellent media relationships to the advantage of your business.
Kelly Chandler
Kelly Chandler is the founder and key wedding planner at The Bespoke Wedding Company specialising in wedding planning for astute and discerning couples hosting their weddings in and around London. Over the past 12 years Kelly has built a solid reputation as a leading British wedding planner, recommended by many high-end venues including notable 5 star hotels, stately homes and private houses, as well as being consulted regularly by various media and other industry sources. A specialist in project management and logistics, Kelly is the go-to person if you want absolute attention to detail and a highly bespoke service or have a "complex" wedding in mind! A champion of high standards in the wedding field, Kelly is a former director of The UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, (2006-2013) and a very proud ambassador and lifetime member.
Bernadette Chapman
Bernadette Chapman owns Dream Occasions in Essex and has been organising weddings and events since 2002. Recognising the need for a professional organisation of wedding planners in an unregulated industry, Bernadette co-founded the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners in 2004 and is the Education Director. She has written a number of training courses and articles for those wishing to become wedding planners and mentors new planners entering the industry. In 2014 she co-authored Wedding Planning for Dummies (UK Edition). As an owner of 2 businesses and mother of 3 children, she is well versed in time management. During her talk she will pass on her tips for systems to improve productivity.
Dominique Douglas
For the past 25 years Dominique Douglas has been involved in planning events. She owns Stylish Events, a London based wedding and event company, which she launched in 2002. Over the last 14 years she has planned and styled many spectacular events for her private and corporate clients. A specialist in planning weddings in London and the Home Counties, Dominique has also arranged weddings in Italy, the Caribbean and other fabulous overseas destinations.
In 2009 Dominique set up a Wedding Planning Internship programme at Stylish Events and since then has had over 30 interns enter the programme, many of whom have gone on to start their own companies or work at prestigious wedding venues. She also runs workshops training aspiring wedding planners on the realities of being a wedding planner and is a visiting speaker at a number of UK Universities running event management degree courses.
In 2014 she co-authored Wedding Planning for Dummies (UK Edition). She is a proud and active member of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners and joint Regional Ambassador for London and the South East.
Fiona Humberstone
Fiona Humberstone is a creative thinker, innovative marketer and bestselling author. She has worked with entrepreneurs since 2000, styling brands, creating websites and running workshops. Having sold her design agency in 2012, Fiona took some time out with her young family before writing, designing and self-publishing her highly acclaimed book How to Style Your Brand. Fiona loves all things wedding and is very excited to be speaking at WPE.
Zsofia Jamieson
Zsofia Jamieson has worked in the luxury goods industry for over 12 years, and was one of the earliest employees at the NET-A-PORTER Group. Most recently Zsofia was overseeing the Retail arm of the NET-A-PORTER Group at a global level, managing and mentoring a team of 80 in New York, London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. During her time there, NET-A-PORTER grew from a small, start-up business to an industry-leading enterprise valued at over £1.5 billion.
Zsofia has since co-founded Blue Ribbon Company, a premium wedding gift list website, offering over 50 high-end brands and flawless customer service to couples in the UK and Europe. Drawing on her 10-year experience at senior management level at the NET-A-PORTER Group, Zsofia will discuss how to attract and service the luxury customer.
Melanie Kiani
Melanie Kiani is the founder and senior planner at Bellissimo Weddings. Bellissimo is an award winning wedding planning company based on the South Coast and covers the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire regions. Melanie founded the business in 2008 after a 20 year career in the legal profession and since launching the business has grown to incorporate a separate company dedicated to events and parties and Bellissimo has also become successful venue managers and owners in their own right including a highly successful and award winning unique beach venue on the South Coast - the only one of its kind in England and Wales. Melanie employs a small and highly motivated staff of 5 and runs offices in Bournemouth. Bellissimo has developed into a planning company which specialises in helping couples who are looking for a planner with solid expertise on the logistics side - someone who will bring a strong element of flow, control and organisation to even the most challenging of weddings including regular marquee weddings and Melanie and her team have developed some good relationships with venues to become recommended independent planners to support a number of venues.
Melanie has been a member of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners since the launch and is a proud Regional Ambassador for the South West Region.
James Lord
James is certainly no stranger to the luxury wedding market, first building up Love and Lord – an incredible wedding planning company with a reputation for planning beautiful weddings internationally, and then spearheading the growth of Quintessentially Weddings – arguably the most exclusive luxury planning service in the UK and abroad. Always pushing the boundaries for higher spend weddings, James now leads the team for the truly lavish wedding fair, Quintessentially Atelier, rolling the concept out across Europe and further afield.
Louise Perry
After many years in theatre, Louise moved onto TV and radio presenting for London Tonight, GMTV, and BBC radio 5 live. She has run a very successful wedding band for almost 20 years and decided when her BBC job got relocated to become a wedding planner, launching Louise Perry Weddings at the end of 2011. Louise has a no nonsense approach to business, having been self employed her whole life. She understands this is about making a living, and through the mistakes she has made through her varied career, she has learnt it is less about the fluffy stuff and more about the bottom line and knowing your worth.
Isabel Smith
Following from a highly successful career at some of the UKs premier wedding venues, Isabel launched Isabel Smith Wedding Design in 2009 with a view to helping couples thoroughly enjoy the process of creating weddings which look fantastic, run smoothly and are remembered for all the right reasons. Isabel has been an active – and highly vocal – member of the Alliance since she launched her company, always openly sharing the highs and lows of business life.
In addition to planning weddings, Isabel also launched a consulting company in 2012 – the first of its kind in the UK – working with wedding venues and other suppliers to improve their marketing, sales and business operations.
Isabel is a frequent public speaker at events like Brides, The Show and The Country House Innovation Show and will soon be convening a wedding planning course with Bucks New University.
