WPE Speaker Thanks to Dominique Douglas and Melanie Kiani

We have come to the end of our series of heartfelt thank you messages to all our Wedding Planning Excellence speakers as today we thank Dominique Douglas of Stylish Events and Melanie Kiani of Bellissimo Weddings, both UKAWP Regional Ambassadors.

They spoke on the subject of ‘Taking the plunge: Growing your business by taking on a team’.

We learnt a lot about the legal and practical ins and outs of taking on staff – from short-term interns to full time employees – and deciding whether securing an office space is the right next step.

We want to thank Andri Benson of Always Andri (UKAWP Ambassador) for her superb speech at Wedding Planning Excellence 2015 entitled ‘Shooting for glory: Building a dream team to create styling magic’.

Andri showed us how to use styled shoots to grow our profile, portfolio and testimonials in the early stages of our careers. We learnt about Andri’s experience of how photo shoots have been instrumental to her business growth over the years.

Coming near the end of our series thanking our wonderful speakers at Wedding Planning Excellence 2015, today we must thank the talented and highly experienced James Lord of Quintessentially Weddings.

Nobody has more experience working with those elusive high net worth couples than Quintessentially Weddings. James gave us a great guide to attracting the most discerning client base the world has to offer.

He was kind enough to answer our questions and share his wealth of knowledge. Thank you very much James.

Today we want to thank Zsofia Jamieson of Blue Ribbon Company for her excellent presentation at Wedding Planning Excellence 2015.

Zsofia’s talk was entitled ’Coddling those clients: Improving your clients’ experience through upping your customer service game’.
