Member Focus
Today we are pleased to introduce one of our newest members, Annette who runs Eternal Events …
How did it all start?
-Well, I have always had an eye for detail, I have a wealth of organisational experience from over 16 years in the Financial Services industry; I have been a Personal/Executive Assistant to company Directors and CEO’s and an Office Manager.
-I later went on to work as an Events Fundraiser for a charitable organisation. I arranged all sorts of fundraising events such as Balls, Ladies Ascot day lunches, Fashion Shows and many more.
-Since that I regularly got asked by friends and colleagues would I mind helping to arrange their weddings. One lady called off her wedding, and when I spoke to her and said I am sorry to hear you are no longer getting married. She replied, “oh no we are still together but I really cannot be bothered to organise it all”. She said if you organise it for me so that all I have to do is turn up on the day, that would be great!
Do you have a favourite venue?
-Yes my favorite venue is Carden Park. I love the long driveway leading up to it.
